Pursuit of Happyness – Listening Activity

TEACHERS: 

Here is a listening activity that is great for mixed level classes as you can play the same clip, but give the higher level students a harder fill-in gap worksheet. I used this for the topic of emotions.

1. Play the video without the worksheet.
2. Hand out the worksheet, and play the video and have the students fill in the gap
3. Play it a third time for the students to double check their answers.

1. Play the video once and focus on understanding what is happening.
2. Try and fill out the first worksheet, if that one is too easy, try the 2nd one.
3. Listen to it once more to double check your answer.
